task as there are ministry opportunities to share His love.
The Paths of Niger
God is using all types of people to reach the unreached of Niger, West Africa. From a Journeyman in his 20's doing famine relief work to a Master's Missionary in her 60's ministering to health needs to a family loving the Songhai people in bush villages. Lottie Moon Christmas Offering Thanks from Brad
Thank you, Southern Baptists! www.imb.org tells more about Lottie Moon, the annual December offering named in her honor, and how it all ties in with missionary support and the Cooperative Program. $2.8 billion has been given through this offering since its beginning to support SBC missionaries serving overseas. The first offering in 1888 totaled $3,315; it was enough to send three ladies to China. This year's Foreign Missioni Study, which introduces the annual offering, focused on the former Soviet Union. The 2007 LMCO goal was $165 million. Both offering and study resources are available at www.imbresources.org and www.gowestafrica.org/lmco.
"Hope for the Hopeless" - CRF Media Video
Most of the peoples of West Africa are bound to the hopelessness of Islam and assorted animistic beliefs and rituals. Darkness surrounds them. Tribal conflict, corruption and poverty seems to have no end. The light of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for the Peoples of West Africa. This DVD presents five short clips of information (4-9 minutes each) on the Songhai, as well as further video footage on four other West African peoples.
